Two formats.
The pop-up store
A corner in a department store, a temporary shop, a short presence somewhere other than your own address. We find the space, negotiate, and run it.
The private event
A launch, a reception, a brand evening, a company dinner. You have the venue and the guests, we bring the rest.
What you get
0205
An answer, not a memory.
Real numbers
The costs, the takings, the margin. You will know whether Japan is waiting for you, before you invest.
A contact list
Who came, and how to reach them again. You leave with an asset, not a dismantled stand.
No entity to set up
We can carry the operation, so you do not have to set up a company for a few weeks.
Nothing to ship
Furniture, tableware, kitchen kit, refrigeration. Hired, delivered, set up, taken away.
The stand comes down. The numbers, the feedback and the contacts stay with you.

What we take on
0305
What we take on.
The space and the framework
Department stores, corners, arcades, temporary units, kitchens free during the day. We find it, we negotiate, we sign.
The product and the pricing
Formats, portions, prices, a menu built for the format, the guests and the season.
The team and the days themselves
Hiring for the duration, briefing, supervision. Set-up, service, managing the flow, take-down.
Communication
Press, social, influencers, local relays. So it exists beyond passing footfall or the guest list.
How it works
0405
Four to six weeks for a pop-up, two to three for an evening.
A thirty-minute call
We listen and tell you what is feasible, and by when.
A detailed quote
Space, format, menu, budget, timeline. Every line costed, before you commit.
The operation, then the debrief
We are on site from set-up to take-down. Then the numbers, the feedback and the contact list.
The space is almost always what takes longest.

You want to know whether Japan is waiting for you
Before investing, you want real numbers, not a market study.
You're launching a product or a collection
A short presence, timed to a specific moment, with the press and the right people.
You're looking for a Japanese partner
A successful operation beats a presentation. It gives you contacts and proof.
You already have a place and want to step outside it
A corner, a collaboration, a short presence somewhere other than your own address.
You're hosting and you want it to count
A company reception, a closing dinner, an institutional evening. You have the venue and the guests.
FAQ
Common questions.
Do I need a Japanese company?
Not necessarily. Depending on the format and the venue, we can carry the operation for you. We look at your case on the first call.
What does it cost?
It depends on the venue, the length, the number of guests and the format. You get a detailed quote, line by line, before you commit.
Can we serve alcohol?
Depends on the venue and the format. Some sites already hold the permissions, others don't. It's one of the first things we check.
How many people can you serve?
Depends on the venue and the menu. Give us your number on the first call and we'll tell you straight away whether it's realistic.
Do I need to be there?
No. We run the whole thing from start to finish and report back to you.
Do you import our products?
No, that's a trade of its own with its own rules. If your products aren't already available in Japan, we point you to someone who does that for a living.
Is everything possible everywhere?
No. Some venues, formats and drinks need permissions you don't get in three weeks. We tell you on the first call, not the last.
And if it works?
We talk about it at the debrief. Plenty of permanent openings start with a successful pop-up.
