What you get

0105

Months back, and a book of contacts.

Months saved

The bank wants quotes, the suppliers want to see the premises, the premises need the loan. We run that order for you.

A file that clears

Alcohol, hygiene, fire. Licences decide your opening date, and one mistake pushes it back by weeks.

The right suppliers

They aren't on Google. They're passed on, and we introduce you.

A first team

Where to look, what to offer, and what a Japanese contract actually commits you to.

None of this is impossible. Together, without a network, it costs months.

What we cover

0205

Everything the Japanese market runs on.

The place

Catchment, competition, footfall. Then the lease read with you, in Japanese: deposit, reikin, exit clauses.

The framework

A Japanese company if that is the right route, then alcohol, hygiene, operating and fire licences.

The people

Hiring your first team, contracts, probation. And the suppliers, from produce to furniture.

Brand and launch

Name, identity, tone, and what a customer sees pushing the door open. Adapted to the market without losing what you are. Then the plan that makes your opening exist.

Take all of it, or only what you're missing. Tell us where you are.

Floor plans, tracing paper, material samples and a map of Tokyo on a work table.

How it works

0305

Six to twelve months, and a weekly update.

A thirty-minute call

Scoping

Scope, timeline, budget. You sign off, we start.

Through to opening

We move week by week and report back. We are there on the day and the weeks after.

Who this is for

0405

Wherever you're starting from.

You have a concept and capital

What you are missing is the manual for the Japanese market. We handle the machinery.

You are opening your first place in Japan

You know the market, but building a place is its own trade. We bring the method, the network and the hands.

You already have several addresses

Your concept is settled. We handle the adaptation and the rollout.

You want to build a brand

Identity, customer experience, attention to detail. We hold the same standard you do.

FAQ

0505

Common questions.

How long does an opening take?

Six to twelve months in most cases. The biggest variable is finding the right premises; everything else runs in parallel. We give you an estimate for your own project on the first call.

Do I need to set up a Japanese company?

In most cases, yes. Landlords, licensing bodies and banks deal more easily with a local entity. We look at your situation, and we handle the setup with you if that is the right route.

Can we hand you just part of it?

Yes. Some hand us everything, others only the premises or the hiring. Tell us what you are missing and we will tell you plainly what we take on.

What does it cost?

A fixed fee, quoted once the scope is set. The amount depends on what you hand over. We put a figure on it at the second meeting.

Do you work outside Tokyo?

Our office is in Tokyo, but we work across Japan.

What if I don't live in Japan yet?

We work with partners who handle visa applications. We talk it through on the first call, based on your situation.

Do you sell studies?

No. We don't sell studies we couldn't execute ourselves.

Do you run the business after opening?

Not in this service. If you want that afterwards, it is a different door.
